MEET THE BOUNCY BUNNY TEACHERS!

Welcome to the Bouncy Bunnies!  We are looking forward to an exciting year of discoveries with the children.  My husband and I live in the Sunol Area.  We have a 23 year old son and a 21 year old daughter.  When our children were in elementary school I volunteered many hours at their school.  I then worked as a student leader for U.C. Davis Cooperative Extension on a farm where school children visited for outdoor field trips.  This confirmed my desire to work with young children and I earned my Early Childhood Education Certificate.  I began teaching preschool in 1999.  These past years my focus has been to work with two and three year olds.  I feel very blessed to be a part of the Centerpointe Preschool family.  My goal for your child is to create a loving, nurturing environment where Christ’s love will guide us each day.  With God’s blessings, Miss Mary Jane.
My name is Aki Wiseman and I am very excited and honored to work with your children at Centerpointe Christian Preschool this year.  To help you get to know me a bit better, I was born and raised in Japan with my two brothers.  My father was a flight engineer for JAL, which gave me the opportunity to travel the world- something not so common at that time in Japan.  I attended both preschool and later on, high school in the USA prior to returning to Japan.  In 1991, I met my husband, Derek, a Canadian living in Japan at that time and soon after married and hand Monica and Albert.  In 2000, we moved to Pleasanton from Japan and have loved it very much ever since.  Monica is now a sophomore at Foothill High School and Albert is a 7th grader at Hart Middle School.  I have always loved children and was recommended by a friend to explore teaching in late 2006.  Shortly thereafter, I was offered a position as a Preschool teaching aide and quickly realized that this was something I truly loved.  Since then, I’ve returned to school and obtained my Teaching Certificate and have plans to continue my education throughout my career.  I very much look forward to getting to know each and every one of you and hope that I will make a significant contribution to your child’s life here at Centerpointe.

MEET THE DILIGENT DOVE TEACHERS!

Hello, my name is Elaine Dye and I will be one of your children’s teachers this year.  I am thrilled to be beginning my tenth year of teaching preschool and joining the staff at Centerpointe Christian Preschool.   During the Spring of 2008, I graduated from Las Positas College with an Associates of Arts Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I have lived in Pleasanton for 18 years.  I am married and have three children, two in college and one in graduate school.  Some of the things I enjoy doing are reading, exercising, camping and spending time with my family and pets.  I am also an active member of St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church.  Teaching children is truly my passion and I feel privileged to be able to enrich their lives by sharing God’s word and helping them on their way to be the best they can be.

Welcome to the Diligent Doves!  I am Miss Belinda and I am so excited to be teaching alongside Miss Elaine this year.  I am originally from Australia and prior to relocating to the U.S.A., I was a Primary School teacher educating students aged 7-9 years.  My family and I moved to Pleasanton 4 years ago and once my own two children, who are now 9 and 11, started Elementary school I could not wait to resume my own teaching career.  I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in Australia and since being in America- have obtained an Early Childhood Site Supervisor permit while completing my AA degree in Early Childhood.  This will be my fourth year of teaching preschool and I am looking forward to this year in our new school, as we continue to grow, develop and learn together.

MEET THE TRIUMPHANT TURTLE TEACHERS!

Welcome to the Turtles room at Centerpointe Christian Preschool.  My name is Miss Emily and I will be one of your teachers this year, along with Miss Julia.  I’ve been teaching preschool for two years and have a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education.  My goal as your child’s teacher is to provide a loving and caring environment where they feel safe and loved.  Above all, I want for your child to feel confident and successful in the classroom.  I strive to provide them with materials that will inspire them intellectually and promote healthy relationships amongst their peers.  I look forward to a great year getting to know you and your children!  I feel blessed to be one of their teachers this year!

Hello and Welcome!  I am Miss Julia and I will be teaching the Turtles on Monday, Wednesday and Friday along with Miss Emily.  I am very excited to be back teaching this year after taking a break to raise my own Pre-schoolers!  My Husband and I have three children, ages 6, 5 and almost 4.  There was a time not too long ago that I had all three of my children in Preschool.  I would like to think that I am familiar with what you as parents are experiencing sending your children to a new school.  I can assure you that we will take the very best care of your children and provide them with countless opportunities to grow and learn.  As a parent of young children, I know that sometimes the preschool environment seems uninviting to parents, but I want you to say that a you are welcome in your child’s class anytime, and although we may seem busy, we love talking to you about your child and answering any and all questions and concerns you may have.  I look forward to meeting you and your loved ones.  God bless you!

MEET THE OBSERVANT OWL TEACHERS!

My name is Diana Gaytan.  I’m married , live in Hayward and I have 5 cats and a dog.  Years ago, a friend of mine who was a Site Supervisor at a preschool asked me to help her out one day.  Reluctantly, I did.  Well,  I had such a great time with the children that I decided to enroll in some Early Childhood classes and not long after, became a preschool teacher.  My experience in this field is 11 years and I hold a Master Teacher Permit in Early Childhood Education from the CA Teacher Credentialing Department.  I look forward to working in the Owl class with the children and I’m excited to see what God has in store for us this year.

My name is Sharon Pantaleon and I’m a new mom of a 9 month baby girl.  Lauren is a true blessing from God.  My husband and I moved to Pleasanton (from Fremont) about a year ago.  We just love the neighborhood and the friendly smiles here in Pleasanton.  Before joining Centerpointe, I was a first grade teacher for 8 years at Cornerstone Academy in San Francisco.  Prior to that, I taught PreK for 1 year also at the same school.  I love being in a classroom and working with children.  I cannot see myself anywhere else.  I consider it a great privilege and responsibility to be your child’s teacher this year and look forward to meeting each of you.
